Splatter Painting

Materials Needed:Splatter-Art

Paper, construction paper, old toothbrush, water based paint, scissors.

Draw a design onto a piece of construction paper and cut out. This is your stencil. Place onto paper.

Dilute paint slightly. Dip toothbrush into paint. Hold toothbrush at the bristle end so that your thumb can rub along it and create a spray. Aim for the area on the edge of the stencil.

Carefully remove stencil without smudging. You should have the image appear, in reverse, on the page.

Brian says:

Placing a very small piece of masking tape on the stencil will hold it in place.

Use different colors before removing stencil.
