Re-launched on January 15, 2011, the site has expanded to include a Market Place, a directory of kid and family friendly places to visit and special features including our unique WTDWTK Special Reports.

Face Painting

If you paint it... they will come.

There are a number of professional face painters available that do excellent work, very quickly. Some event organizers may cover the cost to have all the kids done or they may allow the company to set-up and charge your guests for their services. If your event is expected to draw a lot of people, a professional face painting company is your best choice. The company however should offer a wide selection of face designs that do not take a lot of time. At one event, the face painter was very good, but very slow, which created a long line of anxious kids and annoyed parents.

An alternative to hiring a professional is to contact the local high school to hire a few art students. Face painting supplies are available at most department stores or party supply shops and as long as the designs are kept simple, they would appreciate the challenge and the few dollars you would pay.
